A little bit about me...
Hi, I’m Charlene West, Customer Experience Delivery Manager for Loomis UK Customer Services.
I’ve always loved finding practical ways to support people. My journey’s taken me from a degree in Sports Therapy into the world of customer experience—and it’s been the best move I’ve made. Whether it’s helping a colleague grow or making life that little bit easier for a customer this has always been where my passion lies. Outside work, I’m all about family time, and adding a bit of fun and creativity into everyday moments.
Q: What attracted you to Loomis?
I joined Loomis because it struck the right balance of people-first values and space to innovate. One thing I’ve really enjoyed is getting involved in developing solutions like our customer onboarding process and developing digital solution features on our myLoomis customer portal. It’s all about making sure it actually works for our customers, adds value, and feels easy to use.
Q: What is it like working at Loomis? What do you enjoy most about your role?
Since joining Loomis, I’ve had the pleasure of getting stuck into a wide range of projects and developments. It’s been a brilliant journey that’s helped me build a diverse skill set and, more importantly, form some genuinely meaningful connections along the way.
For me, the best bit of my role is when a customer says, “That’s exactly what we needed.” Those small wins are what drive me.
