Q: Aimee, when did you join Loomis?

Now you’ve asked the question and looking back, I can’t believe it’s almost 10 years ago. Time certainly flies when you are in an engaging and interesting job!

Since joining Loomis there have been some significant milestones, which I’ve also had the pleasure of sharing with my colleagues. From passing my driving test during my first year with Loomis, to being promoted within the company, completing the L3 Line Managers Essentials course, and, on a personal level, buying a house, getting engaged, and becoming a parent.

Loomis has been an integral part of my life in all these events and achievements.

Q: What attracted you to Loomis?

A friend recommended Loomis to me. I must be honest, before that I didn’t know a lot about the company. But once I started to look it seemed that Loomis vans were everywhere! So curiosity got the better of me and I found out more about the company and liked the sound of it.

I made the leap from a family-run accountancy firm with no clear internal structure or growth opportunities to Loomis - which is just the opposite, well structured and with great opportunities to develop and progress.

Little did I know that this decision would lead to remarkable personal and professional growth. I’m very grateful for every opportunity Loomis has provided me.

Q: What is it like working at Loomis? What do you enjoy most about your role?

Working at Loomis has been both a rewarding yet challenging journey over the years. It’s a dynamic environment with great people and supportive friendships among colleagues. Everyone is given a chance to make a positive impact and this makes the working day genuinely fulfilling.

In my current position as Business Transformation Manager, I find immense satisfaction in actively contributing to our myLoomis Customer Portal which, I’m proud to say, is industry-leading.

Working on this platform, which not only enhances customer experiences but also streamlines workflows across different departments internally, is making me feel like I’m making a positive impact on both sides!

Q: And to relax out of work?

In my free time, I enjoy keeping fit and am anticipating taking part in the Battle of Cancer Games this year. It’s a fundraising fitness challenge is designed to push limits, test strength, and embrace teamwork in an exhilarating challenge - sounds good to me!
