Modern Slavery Statement 2023

Loomis UK Ltd is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. We act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and undertake appropriate due diligence to identify and assess potential risk areas and mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our company’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31st December 2023

Organisational structure and activities

Loomis is the UK’s premier cash management specialist – we help manage the public flow of cash in society.

We do this through a network of Branches throughout the UK with a workforce of approximately 1,100 employees. Our workforce is largely covered by long standing agreements with two of the UK’s largest unions, and all our employees are protected by a set of terms and conditions which go well beyond the minimum standards laid down by legislation. This we continue to monitor and make adjustments and improvements on a regular basis.

Business priorities

Our business priorities are to strengthen and improve our offering to clients by:

  • Providing the best cash management solutions available;
  • Reducing risk in all our services;
  • Putting customer, public and staff safety first;
  • Creating a diverse and empowered workforce;
  • Complying with all relevant legislation;
  • Reducing customer costs; and
  • Protecting our environment.

Company Values

Our Company values are widely published both internally and externally:

  • People – we are committed to developing quality people and treating everyone with respect
  • Service – we strive for exceptional quality, innovation, value and exceeding customer satisfaction.
  • Integrity – we perform with honesty, vigilance and high ethics.

Our activities are carried out within the UK, and many of our suppliers are based in the UK. We undertake pre-vetting of our suppliers in so far as this is possible, and we continue to monitor our supplier relationships throughout the life of any contract.

Our purchasing system ensures that all of our suppliers and spend is controlled, minimising any risk of unethical or uncontrolled trading.

We provide guidance and training to support employee understanding of expected behaviours and encourage employees to raise concerns, including through a confidential whistleblowing channel.

Policies

We have a published and agreed a Code of Conduct which details the framework for how we operate. There is also a separate appendix for Anti Bribery and Competition Law and Compliance.
